Focus and Scope

The Asian Journal of Management Studies (AJMS) is a double-blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal in the field of business and management. AJMS aims to publish scholarly work in the field of business, management and organizations in the local, regional and global arena. It is published twice a year (June and December) by the Faculty of Management Studies of the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka.

The journal is addressed to diverse communities, including, but not limited to, academics, managers, economists, engineers, undergraduate and postgraduate students, anyone with a serious interest in the field of business and management.

Publication Frequency

The journal publishes two issues a year.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. There is no embargo on the journal’s publications. Submission and acceptance dates, along with publication dates, are made available on the PDF format for each paper.

AJMS does not charge Article Processing Fees (APCs).

Archiving Policy

This journal is available for LOCKSS harvesting, to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. See LOCKSS harvesting start page.
